the story of Ghost in the Shell, which first hit theaters in 1995 and continues to influence tech culture. Director Mamoru Oshii's unique interpretation of the story set in 2029 AD presents "Motoko Kusanagi vs. Arachnida" in the Ultimate Premium Masterline series.

Public Security Section 9's Motoko Kusanagi pursues the mysterious hacker known as "The Puppet Master." This 1/4 scale sculpture captures the climax of her solo battle against the self-propelled multi-legged tank, Arachnida. Leaping onto a silent, gigantic weapon, her prosthetic body crumbles of its own accord. This striking scene, which offers a possible answer to the question, "What is a human?", has been captured in slow motion and brought to life in 3D.

The ripped optical camouflage suit, vivid muscle fibers, and flying cables—every element has been meticulously sculpted, colored, and laid out to perfectly capture the moment of self-destruction. The hatch in her left hand clearly shows her power output exceeding its limits. The power flowing from her forearm to her fingers is rendered in high detail. Her facial expression, a mixture of agony and resolve, evokes the ghostly presence that drives her. The

massive 80cm deep Alachnida creates an overwhelming impact, drawing the eye toward Motoko like a converging line. Bullet holes on the front of her armor, the camera emitting a blue light on the deck, and the damaged manipulator all convey the realism of her weaponry.

This bonus version also includes Alachnida's manipulator aiming its Gatling gun. The storm of bullets attacking Motoko as she infiltrates the battlefield brings that sense of tension to life on your display.
