Public Security Section 9's Motoko Kusanagi pursues the mysterious hacker known as "The Puppet Master." This 1/4 scale sculpture captures the climax of her solo battle against the self-propelled multi-legged tank, Arachnida. Leaping onto a silent, gigantic weapon, her prosthetic body crumbles of its own accord. This striking scene, which offers a possible answer to the question, "What is a human?", has been captured in slow motion and brought to life in 3D.

The ripped optical camouflage suit, vivid muscle fibers, and flying cables—every element has been meticulously sculpted, colored, and laid out to perfectly capture the moment of self-destruction. Her left hand, with the hatch closed, clearly shows the power exceeding its limits. The power flowing from her forearm to her fingers has been recreated in high detail. Her expression, a mixture of anguish and resolve, is also finished to give you a sense of the "ghost" that drives her.
